I'm thinking of replacing the wood on my previoulsy refurbed 1918 Lithgow with new wood. The metal has been refinished already, and the barrel is a replacement, so I'm guessing there's not too much harm that can be done. What do you guys think. Incidently if anyone knows what 93A stamped on a barrel means, please speak up.

If it is 'era specific correct' go for it, the only time I 'upgraded' the stock on my LE was for syn stock on a parker hale refurb

New Lithgow wood!, Unless you have a set already, it will cost you a nice penny to restock it.

Leave it as is.

BTW post some picts.
