questions about mossberg persuader

Nice shotgun. I went with a 590 SP myself, 8,000 shells the first year I got it, and havn't looked back - that was 4 years ago.

It doesn't have a loading gate like that of an 870, no loading gate = no finger pinch.

If you arn't going to be shooting skeet with it, put some ghost ring sights on it.



Now, if only I can get my 870 express .410 to shoot a box of shells without having to take it to reliable to have it fixed. I still have the same box I got the shotgun with, been taken to Reliable 4 times now. I guess this firearm was made on a friday 5 mins before beer time?

Sorry, Troop,I don't have a breacher ,....yet,just 2x 590s ,no rail.

Wow, you sound just like that little voice in my head that calls itself "common sense". I usually ignore it, as it also sounds like my wife :D

I suppose 8 rounds will do. I sure will kick myself if those damn zombies ever come around :)

When mine arrives I'm going to try one of bbb's S&J hardware no jam followers hopefully that will give it the little extra it needs to make it 8+1 :D

:eek: So you're the reason she keeps disappearing for days on end and coming back smelling of Surrey! :)

Thanks for taking her off my hands. Mind taking her more often? It would give me more time to build my man cave and eat Doritos and salsa while shirtless :D

You don't use a "shirt plate"? Nothing says classy like a undershirt complete with mustard and salsa stains. :D

The sites above aren't much help for something small like what i'm after and yes i did check them all....have to call each until I find one that carries the rail I need. I just figured someone would see this and be like "I got one of those at this place, heres the site/number" or "got one for sale" blah blah blah. I'll check the EE.

Hey Everyone,

I just got one of these shipped to me yesterday and it looks great but I had a couple questions that maybe someone can help me with. After receiving my Persuader, one of the first things I did was removed the shell limited since the tube only held four and the wooden dowel was just rattling around in there but I was wondering if there were any legal concerns I should be aware of since I removed it? Why was it shipped to me with a limiter in the first place?

Mine came with the same thing. No legal concerns with removing the plug. If you decide to hunt with it, you may have to reinstall it or another of a different length, depending on federal or provincial game laws. But for range/playing aroud use, you're ok.

BTW - did yours come with all the receiver filler screws? Mine shipped without a single one - P&D are supposed to be shipping out a set to me.

Thanks Killer Kanuck...mine came with the screws! P&D seems to stress customer service so i'm confident there on there way..
