on a side note, any experts hear tell me how you are suposed to adjust the windage on those mounts?
Grind or shim as needed at the rear where the mount contacts the base.
Which can be a PITA unless you boresight or have a battery operated grinder for the range. Perhaps they should make a USB grinder attachment for the iPod.
It's easy enough, just look through the bore at a distant point or use the sights which are still visible. You can get it pretty close that way.

Modern repro scopes on standard infantry rifles. Bet they shoot dammed good too.

Some are but not all. The earliest I have seen was dated 1933.So these are not even high wall Nagants ?
