I had a calico 22 about 15 years ago, 100 rd helical mag, load so many rounds and wind up the spring. Had to load the mag home, goto the range empty mag and put her away. No patience to load mag at range. Was fun though.

I would think hanging that much weight off the magazine catch is bound to cause issues. For ####s and giggles it would be cool, but for actual practical field use I'll stick to my 10 and 25 rnd'ers.

My guess is the "mag" would require a separate mounting system to the 10/22 stock.

The Zombie comment is a bit of a joke, but the .22lr is often underestimated. If I had to use my 10/22 in such an event I would aim for head shots only, and if you don't think a .22 to the head will kill someone, prove me wrong.
