Can anyone tell me what M14 scope mount this is?

I purchased this mount off e-bay and I would like to know who manufactured it, and if it is any good. It was listed as "Mount scope M14 sniper Vietnam elite" and the description was "Mount scope rifle M14 US made steel" so it's from the US. Looks like the Smith #2024 mount as pictured in the sticky, can anyone with experience confirm this?

Yes it looks like a Brookfield or Smith scope mount but unless it is stamped or marked as such it is a generic scope mount .This design has been copied by virtually everyone that makes scope mounts for the M1A/M305 It is probably a very good and solid mount if it follows the Brookfield Mount. It is not a Vietman era scope mount these were first designed and manufactured in the early 80's

Agreed, Smith Enterprise and Brookfield Precision scope mounts have the company names marked on them.

This was the picture in the auction, I don't have it yet, still waiting for the mail, I guess I will have to wait for it to show up... thanks everyone for the input.
