So ,This is what I know.It is a ar15 made in 1985 by colt. seven hundred rounds down the pipe. two five round magazines and a cheapo black sling.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAnd what I dont know is what a fair price would be to pay for it.

There have been a few in the EE lately - seem to hang around $1000 - $1200. What does the other side look like - does it have a case deflector and forward assist?

At least it has a bayo lug. AR's without bayo lugs seem to languish on the sale rack for some reason?

Colt (I think) 5 rounders.

Strange. I owned Colts in the late 80's and many AR-15s since, and none of them came with mags like that.

I think the old fella bought 'em latter.He told me he left the high (normal) cap.s in the U.S and A.
