Just felt like posting some pics of my newest project. Bought a 196 serial Ruger Mini-14 off a fellow member on the board and decided to tinker with it. I've been doing some minor mods, including a flash hider, strut support, new stock and scope... YES, I know they are not super accurate. I love the gun though, it's crap loads of fun! Future mods will probably be a Choate ventilated hand guard, perhaps a OD hogue stock and a better scope.

Anyway, I just wanted to share! :D

It really is... It's nice not having to hurt the wallet too bad... And over time it's fun to see how much you've changed the firearm. :)

Don't you know taking a gun with a wood coloured stock and making it BLACK increase its ability to kill innocent babies and women by 1,000,000%!!!!!!

it's true, i've read it in the news papers and i've also seen it on tv!!!!!:runaway:
