I really havent been on the internet much the last few months so I wasnt aware of the component shortage. I cannot find the powder, primers, or bullets I need! Im officially screwed now, I only have about 50 rounds worth of powder left then im done for the year  Guy at one shop said the earliest he will see Reloader 15 is January 1. Let this be a lesson to everyone who doesnt stock pile!

Your not totally out of options, might have to incur some shipping costs though. Places do have stock, but you'll be in a mail/internet/phone order situation I would think

saskboy, if you're from Regina and went to TnT, go back and tell him to poop in his hat. Then take a drive down to Avonlea (or just call) and see Darren at Prairie Gun Traders. He will take care of you.

I'd rather have a sore ass than be forced to deal with TnT.

There is another suppy guy in Sask called Raynor Shine, some small town, goes to all the gun shows and usually has good inventory. FS

Last weekend on a road trip, I made my first stop at TNT to see what they had. Talk about an unfriendly bunch. If the fat gal behind the counter had gonads, I would have kicked her.

The only thing different from W.S.S. and them is the color of the building's walls. Oh and quicker service, but with the same attitude.

I was in need of some reloader 15 or varget even, BUT! Good news!!! I managed to find three pounds of W760 so at least I can shoot the magnums. I bought up $300 dollars worth of bullets too (not the exact ones i wanted but hey, its better than nothing!) The guy at the one place said he heard 1000 centerfire magnum primers go for $100!! Oh my lawd!!

You think that's bad, the owner (?) of Chilcoten Guns in Williams Lake said he was on the 'net and heard of a guy in the States who paid $89.00 for one pound of Varget.

The owner of Saskatoon gunworks said some americans came in and said some of the gun shops in the states have nothing on the shelf! Like no factory ammunition at all! This is going to really hurt the small gun shops if there isnt any product to sell. I mean who is going to buy a rifle right now even? Rifles have gone up in price this year and possibly no ammunition to buy for some calibers in the very near future. I wonder how long till we see a sharp increase in the cost of factory ammo at walmart or canadian tire.

Thankfully, the ecomony down south, combined with the current production of ammo, will shortly result in a glut, and eventually, prices will go back to normal. Of course we'll have 6 months of looking at overflowing shelves of ridiculously priced ammo, before the prices correct, but it'll happen.
