Anyone owned or have any trigger time with a SW9ve ? How do they compare to a real Glock?

Don't worry guys, I'm buying a GLOCK :dancingbanana: but I just wanted to see how these things compare to the real thing. These a bunch of reviews available online but I trust you guys more.

On a side note for your entertainment pleasure:
I stumbled upon a video review kinda comparing the two but OMG this guy is a moron!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4RYk68ANrs&feature=channel_page :nest:
Highlights include:
-"This gun is loaded, because I'm in my backyard and theres bears around"...so here let me take it apart on the table for you.
- The gun sounds awfully rattle y, kinda like a couple stones in a soup can.
- "GLOCK IS OVERATED" "The SW9ve is basically the same exact deal as the Glock, only difference is the coating and the Glock has a smoother trigger...thats it!"
- "If I was given a Glock as a gift, didn't cost me anything...ughh...ughhh...I'd take it but I'd still carry my SW9ve simply because the fact Glocks are overrated..." How does that make any sense whatsoever?? So he's saying that he'd carry an inferior gun (as opposed to the "same exact thing"...but with a better trigger) simply b/c Glocks are overrated?
- "..frame is made of polymer, same exact as Glock...well not the exact...Glock b*tched about it "you can't make the same exact gun as our gun..whaa,whaa, whaa" $%*#@ Glock,k, $%#@ Glock!" No my dear sir, that is called copyright infringement and you cannot make the same exact gun as Glock.
- "Now I'm gonna show you what Glock doesn't have..loaded chamber indicator" Nice "added feature" I suppose:jerkit:
-"Glock is a foreign gun, SW9ve is American made"
- "I have an IWB holster but I carry it in my pocket. I don't wear it in my waistband because when you sit down, it pokes into your d*ck"

Please, someone, give me an honest review

Glock probably sells more guns in a month than Smith sold in the entire run of SW9. There must be a reason for that, and the iffy reception that the SW9 got even from the gun press (who can be and usually are bought). I'm not a Glock kool aid drinker, I've owned them and sold them, and think they're pretty good from some aspects and suck from others - but I'd never pick up an SW9 over a Glock, period.

I own a Sigma40F. Awsome pointability but butt ugly. Not a bad trigger on it either, just long. Unfortunatly the current Sigma's are phob's up here.

Not for nothing is the Sigma nicknamed the Smegma. By most accounts, S&W seems to have done a much better job building a Tupperware gun with the M&P.

I definitely agree about the press being bought. An article I read in some magazine or other had me hankering for the new Taurus 845. Then I read here, there and everywhere about Taurus' QC issues and the fact that the reporter is a Taurus fanboy.

I have very little experience with pistols, so I'm still kind of at the mercy of what I read and hear...

Just to follow up that thought about picking up the SW9, if you put a Glock and an M&P side by side, I'd pick up the M&P every time.
