Thing about US made products is that I'm not an American. As far as I'm concerned the gun could be made by norinco, SA, RobArms, Colt Canada or whoever so long as its a good buy.
Matter of fact the US regulations on export make me less inclined to buy anything from the US that could require future parts etc, if things in the US keep on their current track it may not even be legal in the future for US manufacturers to service Canadian customers with parts etc. The US gov is sealing the coffin on their firearms industry one nail at a time.
A good example of this is Kinghts Armament. I baught an old RAS for the M14 that was missing some parts and could not get replacement parts due to ITAR.
