As far as I can tell the only thing wrong with you is you don't have enough rifles. No 45-70 lever? I'd sure love to hear your excuse for that glaring omission!

With your current plan you would have several shocking gaps in your collection. An 8x57 does not do well alone!
Your new 8x57 requires at a minimum a 7x57 on the left and a 9.3x62 on the right. Now that I think about it there really shoud be a 6.5x55 Swede in there too.
Pick up four rifles and you will feel better.

I believe the problem is that this all encompassing hobby has so many facets to it. Its like the internet, just when you think your at the last page, suddenly another one pops up. Yeah you think your just going duck hunting and so you buy your first shotgun. Then you tell yourself a 22 and a good all round 308 will cover all bases. Then after thinking about it for a few years you start reloading, oh and in the mean time you have accumulated more shotguns for waterfowl, grouse, maybe a few more for spares in case the others break. Plus the bargain guns, or to help those whose permit expired at the end of amnesty.
Then you start collecting brass for guns you don't have and so you need to buy that caliber so you can use up that brass.
Then you think you should get an RPAL, not be cause you want, need or have any intention of shooting handguns. Its just to support your fellow gunnutz. Not sure how that part ends.
