Lets see some pics of your tactical shottys!

870p

Here is a bad picture of my 870P. I am trying to deside if the wood is better then the plastic pistol grip.

Here are some new pics of my M4 :D

Used a high temperature BBQ paint (rated to 650 degrees C) on the barrel, and an enamel black paint on the magazine tube, as well as made a new cheek piece out of fibreglass cloth and epoxy. Now you can use the iron sights COMFORTABLY in the 13.5" LOP (mid) position! :D

Mossberg 930

A Mossberg 930 semi-auto. $530, reasonably priced (Marstar). It is a 4+1 setup but because it is semi-auto, 5 rounds is max. Non-restricted. A little reminder to you "pump" guys from Arnold Schwarzenegger in his early (golden) years: "semeeeee-ahhhhhhtoe."

I might as well post here again (posted at the photo gallery under Shotguns, Tactical).

Here's mine:

Beretta 1201FP 20" barrel (basically a Benelli M1 S90 under Beretta skin) with a Benelli M1 S90 pistol grip stock.

I have to thank "Easy" for helping me out on this build and have answered all my questions in regards to his knowledge on these Berettas!

Well, with that soft, plush, beige twist-pile carpeting at a more than $40 per sq. meter, it's obvious that you can afford the good stuff, for the rest of us, there's the Mossberg 930. I guess that Beretta is around the $1300-$1400 range?

The 1200 series has been discontinued already and I have to sell my 590 to fund the project:(

I am also interested in the Fabarm SAT8 and the 930 SPX but due to both guns are still in production and ever since I always wanted a Benelli M1 Super 90 (prohibited) and the closest thing I can get is the 1201FP (basically the same gun Beretta owns Benelli) and I found a CGNer wouldn't mind part his so I grab it.

welcome to the club. I found that mine can eat real light loads just fine. hows yours?

the difference between the beretta and the benelli is the beretta is a pound lighter.

Thanks for the warm welcoming!

I haven't fire this gun yet (just got it a couple of weeks ago) but my brother in-law has a 1201F since new and he can shoot trap with it so I assume once the gun is broken in it will take anything you feed it with.

Glo7,

What's the difference between yours and the SPX?

I saw a SPX in the EE once and was gone now I might be interested in get one in the future.

Man, I love that gun. A thing of beauty I always say. :) ... and no gas seals to worry about. The Benelli PG not only gives it a high LC factor, but controllability too. Congrats on that score.

If you invest in an oversized bolt knob, you'll find you'll be able to cycle the action with your left hand so much more easily while keeping the shotgun on target and shouldered.

:D ... and many thanks for your very kind words. I'm pleased to have been of some help.

Here's my current "stash" of "tactical" shotguns.

Winchester Defender

HP9 with wingmaster wood

Rem 870 with 12 inch barrel, (thanks BBB) and Mesa stock adapter and AR stock. Oh, and nifty tactical light on the front. (Thanks again BBB) :)

Thanks easy for your compliments and thanks for your tips on bigger bolt handle!

I think yours is much nicer and I have yet to gather those parts as you suggested before like those oversize bolt handle as well as the bigger safety.

I am still debating should I install a picatinny along with a ghost ring sight like this what do you guys think?

I wouldn't.

The factory rifle sights on your gun aren't as fast acquiring, but make for a more accurate sighting.

You might want to take a look at XS Sights if you find the factory sights a bit thin.

Inertia operated guns don't like luggage. May have issues cycling light loads.
