Hey all. Cosmo here...I was wondering if any of you shotgun gurus can give me the run down on the trench gun. What kinda availability are we talking here? Ellwood Epps tells me that they come in on a consistent basis but are gobbled up in a manner of hours. I'm interested in trades but would much like to grab one from the store.
Is it more of a collector shotgun rather than a practical shooter? Would it be useful for clays...trap and skeet? I like to shoot in the field and not on the range and I am on the hunt for a trencher but want to get the lowdown before I go and trade up my 870 tactical or do anything of the sort. I prefer older weapons...wood stocks, something with a history and personality, my 870 tac is excellent but (to me) it is too generic and one dimensional. I need something that has the :runaway: factor, especially with the bayonet.

Any info would be appreciated :dancingbanana:

Going to be like any other shotgun with a cylinder bore short barrel. Same sh*t different package.

Are you talking the Norinco copy or the actual killing something in a ditch one?

I hate to break down your entire fundamentals of history, but it wasn't nazi's in the trenches :D.

Mine was built in July '45 (can you say Japanese?). I use mine for 3 gun matches, my 1913 & 1906 M97's are used for Cowboy Action. I shoot at least 18-20 matches a year and I hate changing models of shotgun between different disciplines.

I'd like to avoid killing actual humans...nazis would have been fun, maybe 45 years ago but times are different. im more into killing birds and clay pigeons than national socialists.

zombies

If we're talking about who i think we're talking about, yep zombies sound just about right ;). You know, unable to think logically, brainless, easily manipulated, etc.

I think you misspelled zombies I think it goes like this, L I E B E R A L, and when pronounced sounds like a$$hole. Others in the other end of the country say it so it sounds like ignatieff.

Thank you Ted, that was the joke.
