my cz showed up today.

I don't know if it is just me (just bought 2 of the CZ's today) but I think I like the normal, just out of the box look better, with the wood and everything. Just me I guess. Don't get me wrong, I like buddy's gun with all the add ons, but I think there is a classic look to them as is.

i finally got out on saturday to try out the new cz.the first five shots at 100 yards never hit the target.i dropped the back sight down and everything was on paper after that.i didnt bring my table so all shots were from standing.real fun gun to shoot.of course i was on crown land so i got alot of looks but i talked to a ranger first so i knew i wasent breaking any laws.people look at you funny when they see you shooting praire dogs with a cz,but its cheaper than using my .17hmr.

I love the wood on a cz, only issue is the grip is small for my fat hands:mad:might have to buy aftermarket for comfort...

Sadly the VZ grip from the factory is very small, munchkinland small. I wonder if there would be a market for wood grips that looked the same but were bigger?

the grips and stocks were made small to allow soldiers to wear heavy gloves and layers of clothing during winter.

I heard it was a decision made because they were supplying the VC and the VC were complaining about the AK being too big for their small hands.

nahhh, that doesnt sound right .

if the VC complained, well it went unheard cos the trigger to end of butt on the VZ is slightly longer than the AK .

in anycase the war ended over 30 years ago so whats stopping them from making a bigger PG and stock ?
