Lets see some pics of your tactical shottys!

Thanks easy for your compliments and thanks for your tips on bigger bolt handle!

I think yours is much nicer and I have yet to gather those parts as you suggested before like those oversize bolt handle as well as the bigger safety.

I am still debating should I install a picatinny along with a ghost ring sight like this what do you guys think?

Why wouldn't you do it?

Why wouldn't you do it?

If you notice from the pics for the 1201FP it has factory rifle sight on the barrel I am not sure if I will run out of elevation adjustment or not if I install ghost ring sight.

The 1201FP does come in 18" barrel (18" is restricted and mine is 20") and with ghost ring sight and the front sight on the 18" model is taller so unless I can ensure the ghost ring sight will be functional (usable) I rather leave it the way it is.

I think a trip to my gunsmith might solve the misery here's a pic of the 18" model from the internet:

The front sight is dove tailed, you could swap it out for a XS big dot, you'd just have to figure out the hight you'd need,[call them, they have lots that aren't on the web site] The big dot works great with GRS.

A good gunsmith can save you alot of headach.:D

870 Maring Magnum with a Remington factory top folding stock. The bayonet mount is from sight sponser GP Tactical that I tried to paint to match the Marine finish.

The removable M9 bayonet does cast a bit of a shadow from the tactical light, but it is not that bad.

I just cannot bring myself to cut, tap, grind and epoxy the 870 in order to install Trijcon ghost rings so I am sticking with the stock sights.

Here's my zombie slayer, I slaped a dagger and a sling on it just for laughs, it doesn't even fit in my case with the bayo on it :p

I can take out a horde of 35 zombies before I need to retreat for more shells:cool:

I like your setup lazedout, does that ported barrel reduce recoil or is it just for looks?

I haven't shot it yet. I just got it today and installed the hogue forend. I hear that the porting does a good job at reducing muzzle rise, but I'm not so sure about its recoil reducing aspect. What I am excited to see though is how the stock performs at recoil reducing.

When I do get out and shoot it, I'll write up an update.

.....uhm....trade two "put-up's" for a "put-down"?....cool?.....*ahem*...Put-down....I don't like your white-line spacer on your tac-shotty. Two put ups....You have mediocre taste in flags, and yellow is a decent colour.

Cheers.
