Wait Time for RPAL? - How Long Did Yours Take?

From the point you mailed yours in, how long did it take for you to get your plastic?

Came from B.C. as a young shooter years ago, and had to get my license here.

Hearing too many bad things about 8 month waits. Just want to poke around and hear what people are waiting...especially in Ontario.

3 months in AB. That was 4 years ago though.

Did it in ontario in feb and it was about 40 days give or take a day from me mailing it to me having plastic in my hand.

I got mine roughly 6 weeks from the day I mailed out my application. I'm in BC.

Mine was about 45 days from the day I mailed it until the day it showed up in my mail box.

Six weeks is the norm. 28 days sleeping in the inbox and two weeks to process the application.

from time of application to receiving PAL# over the phone, 28 days 1 hour.
add 5 days and i had plastic in hand.

Mine took about 60 days from the time I mailed it away...

Mine was received by them on April 6 and my licence was issued/printed on May 28/29. In my hands on June 5. Most likely would have been sooner because I got a letter in the mail (instead of a quick phone call or voicemail) telling me that I missed filling out a part on the application. Also, one of my references was out of town and dragged his heels a bit when he came back until I urged him to call for my last reference (and it was issued immediately after that call).

Seven months, CRFSC to RPAL in hand. It took a call to the guy actually processing the application to unblock things.

my renewal took about 2.5 ~ 3 months. my buddy applied for his RPAL back in xmas and still doesnt have it yet.

i'm in Ontario and I just got mine on tuesday. 48 days total.

Mailed my application (PAL/RPAL) on April 29th. Site updated on May 14th. References called middle of last week including me. Site just updated to processed and mailed. Can't wait to get my plastic. I want to go buy a Russian SKS and other goodies.

So... Probably 50 days from mailing out forms to receiving plastics. It's up to Canada Post now.

I started taking the CFSC on April 3rd. So I guess the entire process will take me 2.5 months.
