Alright alright before anyone breaks out the "use the search function" i did and can't seem to find a clear answer to my question.

So there are 3 sig 550 lookalikes made by swiss arms, the classic green, carbine, and cqb. and only the cqb is restricted. Would i be correct in saying that? or is the carbine also restricted?

Looked cool didn't shoot that well, I guess it depends on what your expectations are. Had an SL-8 as well, sold it. Quite happy with my AR now.

Mine was NON Restricted. Unsure about the others.

damn the classic green is the shortest non-restricted. Oh well lol

Not quite, the Carbine has a 14.5 inch barrel it is restricted due to this fact. The CQB is restricted for the same reason (barrel under 18.5") The full size rifles are not restricted.

I don't find sub MOA/5 shots too bad for a semi...

The Swiss Arms don't like factory ammo. The only manufactured stuff that shoots good is the Ruag GP90.

My Swiss Arms guns shoot very well with all sorts of Factory ammo. I get 1.5 MOA out of just about anything in my Classic Green. My GP 90 shoots better than most loads though. Some of Belt Fed's hand loads shot better than the GP 90.

I get ragged one hole groups at 25 meters with the carbine and SG552 with anything they are fed, even frangible.

In my experience you need to have a well set up AR to match and exceed the accuracy of a box-stock Classic Green, black whatever.

There are two barrel lengths, 17.9 inches and 14.3 inches.

...I'll add that those were set to run in my AR with an oal of 2.255" to feed from the magazine.
The Swiss Arms mags allow for greater overall length (I think in the neighborhood of 2.375"), and will do much better with tuned ammo for them specifically...
