Sorry, the pic doesn't do it justice. Anyways, here are the specs.

Stock Remmy XMark trigger tuned to 2 lbs (not happy with this, was hoping it would tune better, I will swap it with a Shilein here soon)

Optics are a Bushy 4200 4-16x40 and Burris Rings (temp)
I got it on paper at 100 which shot a 1 hole 3 shot group that I don't even know how to measure it was so small. I then did 4x 3 shot groups at 200 which measure from .70 to .84. I am still breaking in the barrel so it all out of a clean barrel so the groups are impressive. I am hoping with some load tuning and more trigger time so I can shrink that down. I am using 105 Berger VLDs, 29g Varget, Lapua brass, and CCI small rifle magnum primers.

Work was all done by Jerry (I can't even say his last name, let alone spell it) at Hi Pro Precision here in Brandon. He did a great job and it very, very thorough with all his work.

I should also mention that with Jerry's fine work it feeds out of the mag like a dream. We were both worried that the 6br would not feed well, but Jerry got the bottom metal bedded just perfect and it feeds without any hitches. I don't even have to think about it.
 
NightForce for sure. Just haven't decided on the reticule.

I like the NP-r1, but its a bit busy, so the np-r2 would be good, but I would lose the 1 moa hold-offs.
But then the NP-1rr has a great built in quick range finder if you know the size of the target.

I'll know by fall what I want and then order one in and a new set of NF rings to go with it.

That's a very fine rifle, especially since its a 6BR. You say Jerry modifed the magazine so that it works flawlessly, what is the magazine capacity? If he has come up with a way to have a detachable 5 rd magazine in 6BR that would be fantastic!!!!

BTW...why do you hate Llamas so much? :)

Consider a Jewell trigger. Arguably the best single stage trigger out there.

If you're shooting 1-hole groups, your load development is done! Gotta love 6BR... easiest cartridge to make work really well.

It was my first shots on paper, 1 shot one 1 hole group. It was only 3 shots too, it was more luck than anything I think. The 4 200 yard groups give me more data to work with.

I know the jewels are very nice and I tried a few out, I just don't know if I can justify the price difference between the 2 triggers. if I was using a Sturgeon action or something more high end, I wouldn't cheap out on the trigger, but again, I'll shoot it for now and go from there.

Its just a 5 round AI mag. He didn't modify the mag itself, he just did a fantastic job inletting the bottom metal and then bedding it so it was perfectly lined up with the action. Feeds like a charm.

My fist shots barely make it past the 3 km mark... 4 200 yds is impressive. How's your shooting? :p

Seriously though, the NF reticules are very finely traced, my regular shooting buddy has the NP-R2 and the lines cover tiny fractions of an MOA... I'd go for the NP-R1 for the holdover issue you brought up. As for rangefinding, the R1 or R2 can also do that, the manual gives instructions.

I took it out to 300 today.1.28 was my best group. 1.88 was my worst. Mirage was really really bad as it was hot and very calm. Paper was jumping all over my scope. So I shot gophers for the next 2.5 hours instead. It was a massacre.

I'm always puzzled by people's woes of mirage... Under what conditions does it get really bad? I was shooting at 300 yds last weekend and it was about 20C, over sand, with wind being on & off. Does it need to be hotter/calmer for me to notice? Is it only at like 20x zoom that I'll see it?

I think the conditions were just right for bad mirage Saturday. It was like when you travel down the highway on a hot day and the road looks like water. I still shot a few groups, but didn't bother doing anymore as they were satisfactory and the gophers were much more fun to shoot than the wavy paper.
 
If you are shooting in extremely still conditions, you can get "barrel mirage" after firing a few shots (the warm air rising off the hot barrel can make the target image very muddy and very bouncy; and this can result in you mis-aiming your shots).

The slightest breeze will blow the barrel mirage away. If you are testing ammo indoors, you can install a small fan to blow a crosswind across your barrel in front of your scope, to keep your sight picture clear. Another solution is to install a mirage band over your barrel (a stretchy band of elastic fabric, or a venetian blind slat); this diverts the rising air a few inches sideways. Or, hang a long sun shade ("mirage tube") off the front of your scope; some of these extend all the way to the muzzle.
