Bam B30 in 22. I just got one from airgun source. It is very well priced. If money is no object, order an Airforce Condor from Specialty Shooting Sports.

Time to look at the Migratory Bird act if you are wanting to shoot at Geese. Before it starts costing you thousands in fines and fees, anyways.

But really. Fill yer boots. I won't be chipping in to help pay your bills.

Just sayin' is all. It only takes one whiny neighbor making a phone call.

Look at older Crosman Pump pneumatic models (140/1400) or the 20 cal Ben Sheridan pumpers. They sell about the same range for a decent used one as the BAM and similar guns are selling for new, if not less. They are pretty low tech, but give good power and can be rebuilt for nearly nothing. Good wood and steel!

Cheers

I'd opt for a high power break barrel springer from Crosman, Ruger, Gamo, Hammerli or Diana. All similar design, just different quality and pricing.

Geese out of season and using a single projectile rifle is a no-no. Check the federal migratory bird regulations. Most raccoon hunting is reserved to .22 rifle use but that depends on your province. (.22 CCI CB longs at 700 fps is even quieter than an airgun and deadlier.)

Unless you get into the 25 caliber plus size of air rifle, they are too small for raccoon, unless you can reliably get head shots. Yes, there are always exceptions, but it would be like hunting deer with a 22LR. (you often hear of people killing deer with a 22, but they never tell you about how many wounded got away)

And as for geese or any waterfowl, any rifle is definitely a no-no.

If accuracy is wanted get an under lever or side lever spring powered gun . The barrel never moves so it is more accurate than break barrel models . I have had both , I would never go back to a break barrel . Also depends how much you want to spend . My new gun is a RWS 460 Magnum in .22 cal . It shoots @ 1050 fps . I have killed skunks, rabbits, crows, ravens and various other vermin with it out to 40+ yds. You have to use better hardened pellets in it as the cheaper lead ones can sometimes strip out in the rifling. It cost around $650.00

If you are looking for power and have the cash, an AirForce Condor is the way to go.
