Hi, I shoot a Ruger stailess steel with a MacMillian custon stock 338 win mag and have taken numerous moose with the rifle. It is easy to shoot and is a very humane gun.

I've killed more moose than you people have seen, with everything from .22lr to .458. Use the firearm that you are good with and practice, then graduate to the largest caliber you can shoot. Simple.....
