Of all the Norc threads I have seen, I don't think I have ever heard any comment on the NP29 mags. Any members with NP29 experience using these mags? I have an NP-34 and the Norc mags from Marstar work flawlessly in that gun. Is your track record on the 29 as good? If not the Norc ones, which brand for a 9mm 1911?

Thanks,
Mark

I had a lot of trouble with Mec-Gar mags in the NP34. Mostly feeding issues in nature, some worked, others didn't. I had zero issues with the Norinco magazines. I've also bought a substantial amount of single stack 9mm 1911 Mec-Gar mags and some of those have been less than great to. It's actually been a really annoying experience with Mec-Gar but I keep going back because their mags are cheap. For single stack 1911 9mm I recommend the Wilson Combat ETM magazines (10 rounds) or try Para Ordnance single stack 9mm mags (9 rounds), they're more than great.

Tim.

No problem here with Meggar 9mm 1911 mags in my NP29. The nork mags are pretty rough, but seem to work OK. Meggar are much better made.
I'll take some pics for you.

Much better follower on the Meggar, and the finish is like a mirror.
