ok - help a newby to the M14 game out now.... mine is pretty much stock still, and the battle sights are (well you know) CRAP! So what stock, mount and scope? - just for starters, eh?

Yeah, I don't mind them either.
Marstar has some scope mounts though.

i loved my m14 when it only had irons, with the scope, wow, this baby is hot, arms 18 mount is the way to go ,forget the marstar mount, last weekend i was hitting a 12x12 gong at 500 yards, there is noway i could shoot like that with irons, scope really brings out the potential of the m14
