where to buy new AR-180b

checked the Wolverine webite and it looked as if they were not carrying these anymore?

does anyone know where you can get a new one at this time?
 
According to Wolverine Supplies, they are discontinued by Armalite. I doubt you are going to find a new one anywhere in Canada, but you can probably find one that is almost new on the EE.
 
I heard that with the super increased popularity of the AR-15 they decided to re-assign the tooling and machines to up-production of those.

Lots of Gun manufactures have projects and designs sitting on the shelf simply because they're running full tilt as it is with current models. Why bring out something new when everyone is beating down the door for what you have now.

As my understanding is, they discontinued it because it was a product that wasn't a big enough seller in the states. It may be popular up here, being non-restricted and all, but the Canadian firearms market isn't big enough compared to theirs to warrant continued manufacture of a product at a loss to the company.
 
AR-180B Production

The news I read on the status of production of the AR-180B from a US source is the manufacture of this rifle is on hold due to the huge demand at Armalite for AR rifles especialy the AR-10T 308 which is in demand by US contractors in the war in Iraq and since the AR-180B is not Armalites top seller.Also the new Armalite Cz like pistols are selling like hot cakes and taking up additional production.Lets hope for more in the future.
