So you've all heard about the new Glock with replaceable backstrapd that is going to be shown at SHOT next year right?

The CAV-15 Trooper is close to the "Glock" of ARs. Super light. Too bad they are not here. Shot Show 2010? What month is that and how did you hear about the Glock?

Its all over a bunch of American boards now. I'd heard about it ages ago but dismissed it. But its now been confirmed by Glock.

should be interesting. An adjustable grip G19 would give the HK P2000 some competition...at least in my eyes as the 106mm barrel looks better on the G19 than the P2000

A non-restricted Glock carbine in 10mm would be a dream rifle for me... :D

Just thinking if they made this rifle I would use it for calling in predators, oh man I'm starting to salivate... :p

edit to add...

It would also be my wifes camp gun... :D

they will never bring out a carbine, glocks philosophy is why change a good thing. and to be honest i dont blame them, the only real difference since the 1980 g17 is now the grip has more "grip" and a rail to put a flashlight or what not , other than that .... no real improvements.... them just adding an adjustable grip, like the m&p , just makes sense, lots of LEO, and mil out there with small hands that dont fit the glocks, they would be smart to not change the function or the guts of the matter. and get rid of those new g4 style grips on the slide.

but on the carbine, they will never make one ,. what are they going to do, bring out another AR , like every other company is doing . or bring out something that looks like an mp5 or uzi just not as good, LOL. it will never happen. HK makes the carbines/machine pistols etc and have been doing it longer, have the reputation for the better products in that category . and glock doesnt want to compete with that.

am i saying i dont think they should, no, would i be interested in one from glock. ABSOLUTELY

Actually a nicer Hi-Point style carbine using as many Glock parts as possible would be a seller. Important that they use the pistol mags though. The Kriss designers were smart they use the Glock mags saving a lot of money for them and the buyer.

The Kriss design is a failure. An answer to a question no asked. Utilizing Glock mags is the only good part about it.
