Weigh in ONLY: Grnhawgs turkey contest

Congrats to allll you guys who got birds this year. There's a lot of guys out there who don't have a turkey dinner and have put some serious hours in. So, for you lucky ones, hope you all savour that wonderful dinner that not all hunters get to enjoy, and almost all non-hunters will never get to enjoy.

Doug, you rock buddy....In my mind, this is your win!!

Now if you guys want to confirm the donations we can put it to the winners

the basspro $50.00 gift certificate is waiting to be sent out;)..it should be a lucky certificate..:)
i went to basspro, picked up a crap load of stuff i think i needed...on loading the truck,i put the small bag containing the certificate,s (one for this contest and one for another forum)on the bumper..i was a few miles up the 400 when i realized what i did..

Took this bird last Thursday. Weighed in at local gun shop and leading contest there.

Weight. 23.75lbz
Left Spur: 1 3/8
Right Spur: 1 7/16
Beard: 10 3/4

Score:73.375

I will post pics in the hunting forum later.

From what I see on the NWTF site, you're close to the Ontario record. (75.00) points.

Your score would put you in 4th place. NICE!!

Doug will be taking the record next year however! ;)

Myself, I'm going to trap one and then feed him pasta for 2 years till he's about 40 lbs, and then let him loose for some runnin' and gunnin'!!

Believe it or not there was a guy who beat that bird in our local contest by 1/8 of an inch on one spur!!!
