Had my Remington Model 5 for about 6 months now and took it to the range this AM. I just retired and after playing catch up on stuff that had to be done around the property today was the day. First, I have to say that I'm a shotgunner and 62 years old so my rifle skills are not what they used to be.
Anyway, I sighted in at 25 yds with CCI Mini Mag because I read on line that these guns liked it. Using a Bushnell 4 to 12, I was able to get group of about 1/4 inch. I then tried a bunch of other stuff -- Lapua (didn't like that), Winchester (NO) -- Last up was CCI Stingers -- I only had 10 rounds and shot 2, 5 shot groups that printed 1.5" high & 1" to the left butt the groups were 1 jagged hole. Very impressed with this gun -- great buy for the $. Now I have to find a couple of extra mags for it and buy some more Stingers to zero it in.
