Online matches future

Hi Everyone,

Well its been a while since I last posted . As many of you know I am quite busy with school, work, shooting, homework (ya all those good excuses) and have not been putting much effort into the online matches. When I first started them up we were getting a good number of shooters for the most part and they were going well. As of late though, I have, quite honestly, been doing a very bad job of running them. Although it is not too much work for me just to put the results up each month and post new scores threads, this is not enough.

The member 22lr, or andrew has volunteeered to take over for a while. He will be doing a better job at promoting the matches than I have been doing and hopefully get some life back into the matches. So I am really hoping that many of you will consider shooting the matches.

Remember that they are simple to shoot in. Just print off the target, shoot and post your results! No mailing in of the tagets is necessary.

Don't worry I will still be around when I can!

Hello folks. Like Jordan said, I will be managing online matches from now on. I want to thank Jordan for pushing this great idea for a few years now. Can't believe it, this was over 2 years or so since online matches were introduced to gunnutz by Jordan. I just returned to sport at around the same time and these matches were greatest way ever to work on my shooting skills.

As to the future of online matches – I would like to implement record keeping somehow so that shooters will see their progress from month to month. I have a few more rather radical ideas but those will be discussed separately. For now I am just asking everybody to participate and have fun.

Online matches? Heh, I can't believe I never noticed this before. More proof that stickies are ignored almost as much as the search. Anyhoo, this looks like fun and will definitely be entering soon.

No sweat cz452shooter....the only reason I have not been posting results is that unhappily since my recent move to Alberta my Mauser bolt is currently amiss.

However I am about to purchase a very accurate BSA target rifle.
Once I have it in my greedy paws....I will be shooting your match again!
