What is YOUR favourite powder for clays shooting?

I am interested in reloading for the shotgun sporting games

Rather than try all the different powders (although it might be fun) I thought that I would take a quick survey to find out what you were using and why.

Favourite recipes, tips, tricks etc. would be appreciated.

well, it's 16 ga, not 12ga

so I used Universal Clays until I couldn't get it and switched to HiSkor 800X.

Picked up a few years ago 7 pounds of the discontinued Winchester WAAP at Wholsale, formerly Farmers Supply here in Winnipeg. Sale price of 16 bucks/pound...still have 3 left. Should have bought them all. Not the cleanest burning powder but breaks clays well!

I used 452AA Winchester, not sure if they still make it, but was a great powder, also liked Hercules Red Dot and Remington 700.

452AA was discontinued years ago as well. That was the problem with Winchester...they changed powder names/designations like socks.

I buy flats of Federal Game Shok 7.5 or 8 from WSS whenenver they have it on the floor, and then reload it 4-6 times. I also buy Fiocchi hulls from Bilozir, but supply is spotty. Better hull than the Federal, but Feds can be more convenient. I've tried BPI Multihulls, but they are no so good as Federal. Can't get my hands on Winchester AA in 16ga. I've done a few Remington black hulls, get 3 or 4 reloads from them, but they are hard to come by.
