Magpul CTR, worth the price ???

I like the LMT crane stocks too........expensive though, makes the price of the CTR look like pocket change
Yes, the LMT is soo not worth the money...but love is blind.
NO! Totally not worth the money dude. You don't anything beyond a stock functional AR15. But that should in no way stop you from building a cool gun. Buy the CTR and build.(I like LMT)

I hate the Crane stock.
IMHO for a 14.5" and shorter gun CTR, UBR for longer.

I love my CTR stocks, but I find the use of the friction lock is only a slight improvement than when it's not engaged. Maybe I'm just lucky with well matched mil-spec buffer tubes. That being said, there is a difference, but I do rely on the quick release sling swivel attachment point, which doesn't exist on the MOEs.
As said before, get one from Brownells to avoid getting gouged by someone augmenting their income via the EE.

I just received a black CTR and a black moe stock from Brownells today. Super-fast shipping. Only downer was the $20 custom fee I had to pay for the CTR. Still a lot cheaper than buying it on here used.
If they are out of stock you can be put on backorder list for about 1-2 weeks and they will than charge you and ship.
