Is it just me or is there allot of fibbing going on in the Exchange of Factory Ammo and Reloading Equipment forum? I hate that everyone can not see who responds to ads and in what order they are posted in. I have had 4 in the last two weeks with another one today. One at 3:45am, I couldn't sleep so I logged in to see what was new. I saw some bullets I needed at 3:46am and sent in a reply saying I will take it. 1 view only registered and the guy changes the ad to sold at 8:15am and notifies me that someone else has won it. At 3:45am there are a ton of people on here I guess. Worst one was today the guy posted an ad at 2:08pm, I just so happened to look in the forum at exactly 2:08pm so just after he posted, 1 view was in the views column, which would be his after he posted it. I then said I would take it within 20 seconds and my outgoing email says 2:08pm on it. He writes back 20 minutes latter and says that a couple of people are in head of me and the item is sold. Oh really, isn't that amazing that 2 other people had the exact same timing as me and I was just to late, yeah right. On other forums you can clearly see who posted and no arguments can come of it. Have I just had bad luck 4 times in a row?

The views aren't accurate to the minute, not even close it seems. Just because you see 1 view doesn't mean many others haven't also viewed it. I only read half of your post, I find it annoying when people don't use paragraphs. Hope that helps.
I don't cherry pick offers received from CGNer's, the first I'll take it, gets it.....buyers don't usually respond with an "i'll take it and give you $10 extra" so I can't see why any seller would not accept the first offer.

Well, if it is not, I apologize in advance. But if it is, I don't know you, nor did I know the three other people who were AHEAD OF YOU stating they would take this, including the man I sold it to. So, I did not lie. I went with whoever pm'd back first and said "I'll take it"...end of story.

I think you are right, the minute clock might be off also. As far as the paragraphs go you must have a hard time reading books. (just yanking your chain). Your right, should have made it into a point form.
Joe N: Yes it was you I was referring to but I must apologize , I got two of the stories back wards, you said it was already sold which was amazingly quick (time lag maybe) and the one from early in the morning.
As far as lying goes about something for sale, easily done by many, someone offers more than posted so the seller tells the first in line that it is already sold. This would be eliminated with the view version of other sites.

Sometimes I could see someone just clicking on the top message when they first open there messages and working their way down the list that way. I dunno, just a thought, always sucks when something on the EE disappears to fast...

are you talking email or pm to your cgn box? i get an email notice from cgn i recieved a new pm but it's usually a week or more after i get the pm. super annoying by the way mods!!!!
