I just did up the score sheets...looks like a fun match:dancingbanana:

So...who's going?

PS...they'll need RO's so instead of a second thread...who's RO'ing

4 of us are going from Oakville/Burlington area on the Saturday squad. None are RO's tho.

Will they post the stages for this match soon? Just curious... :D

I'll be working as general labour the whole weekend as one of the volunteers provided by my unit. Yes, I said volunteer before anyone was voluntold.

I'm looking forward to meeting any of the CGNers who might or might not be out there. If you see the guy with black chevrons, black lettering on his name tag, a French accent and a beard, odds are it's going to be me.

I can't make it....

I have to leave that Friday for a wedding in Ohio...:(:(
will be back late Sunday.... can you guys leave the stages up and I come by Monday afternoon to shoot them ? :D:D:D.......no, seriously ? I'll RO, and score keep myself :D:D

We shot Saturday. It was breezy, chilly on and off rainy and drizzly, but not that muddy... ####ty day to shoot. Dropping the mags in the mud was a challenging task to clean after you shoot in some stages, but what the heck, we still had fun shooting. Shooting the low port was a fun stage considering the low port is on a muddy spot. We finished just before 5:00 PM. It was a fun match. Met a few fellow shooters from Quebec. Driving back to GTA was a messy one considering going west was basically heading against the wind and rain. Otherwise, all went well and everyone from my squad enjoyed the match.
Thank you very much for the Kingston IPSC L3 organizers and all the people who contributed and supported the match, most especially to the young soldiers who were around who helped out in patching, scoring and doing the running around during the match. We SALUTE you guys.

See you at the ON provincials in 2-weeks :)

Thank You

As the Match Director I can say that the match did not organize itself and I had lots of help. At the club level I received excellent support from the executive and my team worked well together which made the design and set- up work the smoothest yet. Even some non IPSC shooters came out and pitched in.

I have to thank Quigley and the board of IPSC Ontario for their support and encouragement. They sponsored a stage, through in a bit more of a subsidy, took care of the stats and appointed the excellent RMs (Georges and Virgil).

Thanks also goes to the stage sponsors, AIM Bullets, Frank from CRAFM (he brought JP who won the charity shoot in that unbelievable time) and Shooter's Gear for their belief in Summer Fun 2009 and the FRPC crew.

To all of you who shot and competed I extend many thanks for coming from far and near and for your positive comments which encourage me and my team to do it next year.

Lastly, I have to thank my wonderful wife who puts up with me and all my crazy shooting friends and the time away to get the match prepared. I must say though that she found a bunch of new BFFs (other shooting wives) to go shopping with on the rainy Saturday. They managed to find the new outlet mall quite entertaining.

Cheers,

Bernie

I am sorry to hi-jack this post Quigley, but since this is related to the last weekend's Frontenac match, I figure I'd ask it here.
Frontenac L3 match was kinda weird case... Level 3 match and 1-ICS stage, but not enough shooters (Master & GM) especially in Open (1-master shooter) & Standard Division (1-master shooter), at least from what I see from the overall result list. Will the result in Open & Standard Division from Frontenac L3 qualify for the calculation of classification for Ontario shooters?

Thank you in advance.

I haven't had a detailed look...Rachel is the person to ask about Classifictions...her contact info is on our website

Cheers

I also shot Saturday. The rain was bearable and just enough to make it a miserable to shoot, but as they say a miserable day on the range is better than a good day at work.I had a blast and was on a squad with nobody I knew and everyone seemed to have had a great time and I really enjoyed their company.
I just wanted to thank all the organizers and all the people who worked hard and supported the match. I big heartfelt thanks to our soldiers who helped during the match. Thanks for Serving we Salute you!
