is it like a oily substance that collects a white film on the bottom if not used in a wile?
if so it causes cancer. toss it out.
how old is it ?
im not to sure in ur case. up to about maby 5 years ago in the military the CLP (gun oil) they issued was a teflon based oil. They found out it was cancerous and got rid of it. When you have it in a clear bottle it would make a layer if white on the bottom (teflon) after sitting for a day or 2. you would half to shake the bottle b4 use.
Do you have a credible source for that? Because this MSDS says the opposite. http://www.techspray.com/newmsds/English/ms3115aEng.pdfThey found out it was cancerous and got rid of it.
You have to shake all of the multi component lubricants, and the military is still using CLP (break free). Having to shake is not a negative unless you fail to do so; then half way through the can the component ratios will be out.
