I got a trigger job done on my SKS and it has made a world of differnce, with Privi Partisan Soft point, I had a 2 inch X 4 shot group at 50 yards, had another group at 100 yards that was 4 in 1-1/2" with a called flyer :( bringing it out to 4" (total of 5 rounds) Well worth it I would say - I think I will save the milsurp ammo for shooting at the plates.

I don't think it's corrosive, fwiw, but the surplus ammo I have was packed back in 1971 - I think I will save it for shooting at steel plates etc; it's good enough for that, but I heard ppl are pulling the bullets, dumping the powder and putting in their own powder charges and reseating the bullet, I don't know if this is worth the effort though.

Why the secrecy? Let the world know man :)

first , importing and exporting firearms parts are complicated , there various US agencies that has control over them . there is currently an import ban on russian SKS and norinco product .

second. within the trigger group, contains parts that are considered as restricted/controlled parts and shipping them across the border requires a permit .

like i said its complicted and im no expert , pls read legalese forum.

please do not post any company if it means breaking any laws .

well no where in the OP said the the firearm or any parts of it crossed the boarder. This is the type of info that needs to be posted. You can just say "Hey look what I had done" and then not give any details.

Its just mean man :)

He is just trying to cover everyone's butt...

If you need the info ask him to PM you or PM him, simple.;)

If you follow this video posted and have a lot of patients your trigger pull will be as smooth as silk with hardly any creep. The pull weight will go down from
25to 30lbs to under 10lbs. This procedure also makes the trigger group a lot safer. If this is the first time you perform this procedure I would suggest you get a new sear and disconnector and use them, in case you make a mistake. These parts are only about $20.00usd. If you want somebody else to do it just google SKS trigger job. There are people out there that are doing them with same procedure as in the video for between $60.00- $70.00usd plus shipping. Time and patients thats all it takes...............
