Thanks to you guys and your Russian SKS`s.......I just recieved my second one in as many weeks.This time a silver bolt ,laminated stock...the first one a silver bolt ,birch stock (both from Frontier and his 3 day shipping !!)

Will this madness ever stop ?

I agree with PP. Wife #2 has a completly different attitude than #1. Mind you, I had a bit more experience when she came on the radar. I also let a different head do some of the thinking.

Indeed my friend.House is paid off ,and aside from the bills......the rest is mine....all mine.I have a "lady friend' who also owns her own house, so the problems are few.The only problem is my RPAL (that is held up, due to the lack of communication with one of my references)...and when that comes up ,more goodies to spend on.
AND yes, they are calling BOTH of my references.

Well chum, I have an SVT-40 .Turkish Mauser,Mosin-Nagent and some kind of Mauser with the large (winter?) trigger gaurd.So I have the Soviet stuff almost covered.
Would love to get a Yugo or Albanian (FF sellers do you hear me?)

i know this is getting off topic but, lol its too funny. My wife went away for 5 days and she came back, to another sks 2 shot gun's and a pistol. What can i say shy left me alone for five with the kids. she dont know about the pistol yet casue im still waiting for the ATT. she's going to be upset this time.

To a wife it`s called "JUNK"......when she buys a new "outfit" and must buy matching shoes and a purse.....it`s called "accessorising"

Maybe next time you buy add ons for the SKS ,tell they are accessories.She`ll understand.

BlackBrant, congrats with the purchase of your SKS! Can you please describe your model, what year is it?

I bought an SKS from Frontier Firearms at around the same time you did. Its silver bolt and laminated stock as well (I believe they had 2 in stock so you must have bought the other one).

It's a 1950 Tula, here are the pics of mine:
