Maximum powder charge for 38 special?

Using IMR 4227 powder, what would be the maximum number of grains that can be safely loaded in a 38 special (once fired) case? What maximum muzzle velocity would result with that powder charge with a 158 grain bullet? TY

Without knowing what type & weight of bullet, the condition of the case , what kind of gun it would be fired in, my answer would be for you to check in a reloading manual.

according to the manual above 4227 is only recommended for a 155 grain bullet and then the maximum is 10 Grains...
