Just wanted to know what people think of this stock. I do not know how to post a picture here, but anyone can Google it.

This one? :yingyang:

You are absolutely right. For looks. I do not think they even install recoil reducing system in this stock. I saw some Knoxx stocks for shotguns that had recoil reducing systems and others had not. They looked the same though. As far as looks go....The other "tactical" 10/22 stocks just do not do it for me. Plus this stock costs under US$90. The only other stock for 10/22 that looks appealing to me is Christie Tactical.

Can you please clarify this? It seems that there are plenty of collapsible stocks coming from US with or without rifles attached to them.

The export department of the US is why they're in a recession. God forbid they make some money exporting .22lr rifle stocks to Canada.

I just got my 6 position collapsible stock from the US no problems...

Collapsable stocks require an end used from a public agency to be exported. There are lots of folks smuggling them out of the US and many companies shipping them out of ignorance. However, responsible manufacturers and distributors are not in a position to take chances with the state department.

OK,
Now I am even more confused. On your website you list Knoxx as one of the companies which product you distribute. And you specifically mention SpecOps stock in your ad. I was under the impression that this is a collapsible stock. So do you sell them or not? Or is it some new requirement and all we see now is the stuff that was brought in previously?

Sorry I should have been more clear. Collapsable rifle stocks are controlled by the State Department. Shotgun stocks are controlled by the Commerce Department, and they are exportable without issue.

So, no more AR 15 carbines with collapsible stocks are going to be coming from US? I guess it is more business for Chinese knock off's. It is getting insane. Is that Obama's work or has Bush started it?

Since we are on this topic, does the same rule apply to folding stocks? What about collapsible stocks on bolt action rifles?
