Just found out about a new german sniper memoir:
"Sniper Ace: From the eastern front to siberia" by Bruno Sutkus

Looks very interesting.He had over 200 kills.
Coming out in Sept.

Here's another one that's a pretty good read, too:

Sniper on the Eastern Front: The Memoirs of Sepp Allerberger, Knight's Cross.

He was credited with 257 kills on the eastern front.

Sniper memoirs

Not wanting to hijack, but anyone has ever come across any book or writing about Harold A. Marshall (WWII Canadian Sniper with Calgary Highlanders).

I first saw a picture (taken by Ken Bell ) of Mr Marshall in full attire with his No4(T) at the Caen Memorial. Since then, I found that he survived to war at least till 2008. That picture is really awesome.

That is a brilliant pic - I always figured he looked like a really hardcore pirate. The moustache kicks ass.
