Hey everyone, I am from S.E Sask. I am looking for any dealers or people in the area, or for that matter ANYWHERE who may be able to get the following rifles,Or any rifles that are along the same lines. ARE THEY AVAILABLE IN CANADA??

BARRETT 98 Bravo : .338 lapua mag
SIG-SAUER Blaser Tactical 2 : .338 lapua mag
FARRET : .338 lapua mag

Anything along these lines would be great, been searching and searching to no avail. single shot is great or bolt action mag mag is good. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

for the $$$ of a barrett

why wouldnt you get a canadian made....... I betcha an ATRS or a PGW for the $$ would be superior.....???

Just a thought... Buy Canadian......

Wolverine can get in the Barret. So far as I know it is not restricted. Be prepared for a long wait time and a lot of $$$$$ out of your pocket.

The 98Bravo is a bolt action rifle... not even restricted, let alone prohibited.

The 'Light 50' and rifles of that family are prohibited IIRC.

I too would look at a PGW before a Barret.

Sako TRG-42 might fit your needs as well, worth a look anyways IMO

I believe The Shooting Edge in Calgary has a Blaser Tac 2, not sure if it's in 338 LM, but they could probably get it for you in a couple of months time.

In my opinion, the PGW are rather overpriced for what you get.

I think all of the rifles listed are grossly overpriced. Obviously esthetics are more important than accuracy, or the poster would realize that having a custom rifle built for him would result in a more accurate rifle at a fraction of the cost. 2 for the price of 1 in fact.

I was also thinkin of the custom single shot rifle.... great info guys and thanks... I like the way the tactical rifle handles. single shot is more than enough, at the distance that I shoot.... one shot is all i can use any ways. lol. barretts and the PGW are beutiful rifles... but I dont need to spend the extra coin for mag fed. I am currently just a home gunsmith. do not have the equipment to build my own or for that matter terrified I will make a mistake diving that far into something with that much precision at this time. Any help is great help. thanks again guys.

Nothing wrong with a mag feed dude... Just because it's a custom-built rifle doesn't mean you're stuck with a single type of feeding system. I'm sure the gunsmiths here can chime in on single-fed vs. mag-fed.
