Hey all. I moved from Ontario to BC about 8 months ago and I recently e-mailed IPSC BC to find out if my black badge would still be considered valid as I let my IPSC Ontario membership expire or if and where I would need to go to take a black badge course.

I have not gotten any response from the e-mail I sent 2 weeks ago and another I sent less than a week ago. How long does it usually take them to respond?

A lot less than that. Email the S/C Mark or PM him here - DVC1911
 
pats: I sent it to the general info e-mail is I did not seen any other e-mails on the site. How do I find my section coordinator?

doon: I completed my Black badge in Ontario and my last match was November 2007.

Send your contact info and IPSC Ontario memberhsip info to me at dan@teamdarkside.ca

I will need to confirm your activity with IPSC Ontario. As you have stated that you have been active up to the end of 2007 you shouldn't need to recertify (we have a rule regarding continued activity).

Dan...someone contacted me about this a few weeks back. I can confirm DragonBlade was current last year...

Jerry W. is the only instructor on the Island at the moment and he hasn't put on a course for the last couple of years.

We (IPSC BC) are trying to get more people trained to be TCI's over there but it's proving to be difficult.

Send me your info and I will see what I can get worked out for you.

Ahh. The contact information for each member of the BoD is only displayed if you have a cookie saved on your computer from being a forum member. The general e-mail listed on the website goes to the section coordinator. I do know that Mark was in Hawaii for a couple of weeks and got back recently. Your email might have been buried in his 2 weeks worth of piled up correspondence.
