Where to buy 8 round .45 ACP 1911 magazines in Western Canada?

P&D usually has Wilsons in stock and I'm pretty sure that I saw both Kimber and Nighthawk 8-round mags at TSE when I was in there last week.

Reliable Gun in Vancouver (site sponsor) has some KimPro 8 round mags. I've had Wilson mags and many others and I find the KimPro mags to be the smoothest and most versatile when it comes to functioning in multiple 1911's.

If you don't mind me asking, how much duty did you incurr at the border? Also how much did Brownell's charge you for shipping?

I think what Nester meant to ask was "where can I find some .22 short 1911 mags", because I doubt he's man enough to own a .45.

Hi Nester!

:welcome:

Yep, TSE has lots of Nighthawk 1911 mags. They look to be the same ones as made by Act-Mag for Novak, Wolff, etc.

I have a couple of Wolff marked ones for my Norinco. They are a quality magazine and run flawlessly with RN or truncated cone bullets, but not as well with SWCs. The Norinco magazines, which have the old GI-style tapered feed lips, run well with SWCs.

Results, of course, may vary depending on your gun.
