Picking a SCOPE

Need some help I would like to spend around 400 to 600 on optics to put on a rem 700 sps tac... I want a scope with plenty of eye relief. What would be a good buy.

Bushnell tactical. Either 3200 5-15x40 or 4200 6-24x50.

Bushnell Tactical, 6-24x50 , probably $700 ish now, just under, just over.
Great little scope, turret knobs that are simple to operate, repeteable settings, you can zero the knobs, good light transmission give bright picture, and good clarity. It's not a Leupold Mk 4, nor is it a NightForce but it's not supposed to be that's why it's half the price.(at least)

The way I see it, if you got 2 guns to swap a scope on , can go more money.
Or if your rig is lets say $1000 , $500 is ok for a scope.
Your case a 5-15 3200 would be nice, or even a vintage japan made scope with AO, turrets a bonus if shooting many distances.

Bushnell Tactical, 6-24x50 I like the looks of this one I am not too sure on the quality of the 3200 series. Any deals on anywhere for the 4200 now?

the 3200 you got 1/4 clicks, I think the 4200 does better, much of the rest is the same....

I have both the 3200 and 4200 models. They are the same quality. The only difference is the 4200 has a bigger objective and side focus, plus 24x instead of 15x. Glass is the same.

Go with the 4200 Tac. I dont have one but my buddy has 2 and i have played with them and they are fine. I have a couple other bushnell elite 4200 products that are also verry good.

The 3200 has thicker cross hairs. 4200 has pretty decent cross hairs. Not near as thick. Glass is about the same, Eye relief, the same.

I think the eye relief on the Elites is really awesome actually.

I just took 2 rifles out yesterday to compare. 3200 5-15x40 w/ao mildot and a 4200 4-16x40 with ao multi reticle. Other than the thickness of the crosshairs I like them both.

I just took both my rifles out of the safe to compare. Both are tactical. one is a 3200 5-15 the other is a 4200 6-24. The thickness looks exactly the same.

Different reticules maybe? I could see a big difference, there was no mistake.
