There is .455 available. Fiocchi manufactures it. European Arms Distributor in North Vancouver, BC has it, and Gun Mart in Brockville, ON also carries it. Not sure if any others do. It's over a dollar a round but well worth buying a box or two to fire that cool 1911.

Great collection BTW.
 
.455 Webley isn't that hard to find, .455 Webley Auto is a different story altogether. Pretty much have to make your own cases by cutting an extractor groove in .45 Colt cases.

Fiocchi is making the rimmed .455 revolver ctg but I don't believe that anyone is currently making the rimless .455 auto ctg.... ;)

Old Western Scrounger sells it, though I've never found any. It is a bottlenecked 8 x 22mm, similar to 7.65mm Luger. I don't know that I'd shoot mine, it's pretty worn and I'm not sure how much faith I have in it.
 
IN reference to old western scrounger , can't import that. i don't think they have the license to export.

Got to say the Nambu is a cool gun. on my 10gun want list.

Other than the 1911's I really like #26..... the Colt1903 pocket hammer .38ACP...:cool:

I had a nice one circa 1999..... Am still on the hunt for another. :)

To me the Colt 1903 pocket hammer .38ACP is the direct precursor to the Model 1905 .45ACP..... which was the 'granddaddy' of the 1911.

Yeah, one can never have "too many" old Colts..... ;)

I feel for ya.. I made my own cases to shoot mine.... great collection of militaria. Thanks for sharing...

These guys have the Webley .455 rimmed. Maybe the manufacturer of the brass (in Oz) also makes the .455 auto.

I also vaguely recall a shooting buddy from 20 years ago having a .455 Colt auto like yours.
Other than ruining most of the brass with little splits at the mouth, conventional .45ACP worked pretty well, IIRC.
