Excuse my ignorance, what is different about these compared to the ones lever arms have in stock right now? just magazine fed?

just trying to be handy

The only reason I ask is I grabbed one last night, the one that is in the "new arrival" section on their site. And it's non/res. This isn't a mag fed, and it's pump action. But same gun.

Uh, no it isnt...that is the Norinco model 97 SHOTGUN...we are talking about an evil black rifle...read the thread...

The newbie beat me to it...

Ah s**t, I just saw the model 97, I'm an idiot, carry on....'

edit: christ, it's even in the red rifle section lol...

lmso, I bet you got a bunch of us to check out levers website though! :) lol even though I knew that was what you were prolly talking about I went through every section of the website.

lol *shakes fist* :)

Got me looking, and saw their price for their SKS's and am wishing I had funds for another purchase :(

OK, back on track...

Now, where exactly are we with who's holding them, who can allow them to be sold by the dealer, etc... is there a rough timeline? or are we still at ground zero?
Can we get some definitive information?
cheers

So if the CBSA is holding them does that mean that the RCMP have finished their review of them? or are the CBSA still holding them because the RCMP are still reviewing the rifles?

I would just like that clarified as it was posted some time ago that the RCMP had made there ruling and that it was going to be up to the CBSA from there on to release or deny the shipment.

I think CBSA is holding them because the RCMP have themselves in a pickle and have not decided what they are going to do. Or haven't figured out a way to justify what they want to do.

At first glance it seems like there is no procedural justice in this dealing. Is there any notion that we have seen any fairness in the process, or in the procedures? There seems to be neither transparency nor timeliness in relationship to how decisions (or indecisions) have been communicated by officials.
