Worth every penny!

No need to buy high priced Redding, when Forster is every bit the same quality for a lot less.

I have the Forster Bench rest die set with the Micrometer Seater, as well as the Neck Sizing Bump Die(use's neck size bushings and bumps just the shoulder).

Use em on my Forster Coax press - geez, you'd think I really like Forster.

Great stuff - never go wrong with choosing it.

Not only are the products great, they are a great bunch to deal with. For one of my wildcat projects they sent me a die blank for their bushing neck dies that had not been heat treated, I used this 243 blank to ream a custom bushing bump seating die for my 25-243AI wildcat, they also sent me custom bushings as the ones I needed after neck turning were not in their commercial lineup.

My Co-ax press came used from ebay and it works great, I cannot say enough about them

Can these dies be used for semis? I'm finding information that says "This die should not be used in semis, levers etc." on some die sets and frankly I find it a little confusing.

If that comment was from the die manf, that is their lawyers talking.

If from a post, they are not looking at sizing in all its many wonderful forms.

Short answer is YES AND NO.

The goal of a handloader is to ensure the brass will chamber without fuss. Some chambers/rifles may require one form or another to work. There is not ONE perfect solution as there are no one dimension for any chamber.

So you size the case and chamber check in the rifle. If there are chambering issues, you adjust accordingly till it works.

It is ironic that all too often you hear that FL sizing/even small base die is THE method for semis when having the base of the case fit the chamber snugly ensures better accuracy and performance.

If you are loading for a MG and just want to make alot of noise, these dies are not for you. However, if you want to maximize performance, accuracy AND function, a combination of dies may just yield the best results.
