CanAm has been asked repeatedly to provide details on what you are doing and the answer is always the same - don't want to discuss it here, call us. Yet when I call, you have nothing to tell me. You (or whomever answered the phone) said that the guns are in the hands of the RCMP/Customs and there is nothing you can do about it and no idea as to when they will be released.

- What have you actually done so far?
- What did you do last month?
- What are you doing this month?
- What are you going to do next month if they are still not released?
- Are you going to meetings?
- Are you writing letters?
- Have you hired a lawyer?
- Have you filed any motions?
- When do they come up for adjudication?
- Exactly what have you done?

Are we really asking so f**king much for an update on what is being done???

I am in for one type97. Paid for and am waiting and will continue to wait. Can-Am is in for a boat load who do you think wants this ended more? Surely someone is working on it Thanks Can-Am for all the great products you bring to us.

You are singing the same tired song. I have called multiple times over the 6 months they have been held up and never once was anything but polite especially since I don't know who is answering the phone - could be the boss, could be the newest employee to the company.

But suddenly now you are going to change? Forgive me if I'm skeptical of that.

So why can't you answer the questions here? What is the big secret? If you answered them over the phone, surely someone would have posted them by now and since that has not occurred logically you have not answered anyone's questions.

I have lost my faith in you CanAm.
 
Then if you've lost faith in Canam, get your money back and quit your criticizing.

This is a legal issue, and when someone is involved in litigation, they are a fool to speak publically about it until there is a resolution. The last thing they should be doing is publicizing details on an open forum. While Chris has said that you can call him and he will tell you what he can, obviously there is a lot that he simply cannot tell at this time.

Why can't people believe that he has a lot at stake here. I am sure that he hasn't presold all the rifles, nor that the presold ones have paid for the entire shipment. He must have a ####load of cash or borrowing abilities tied up right now, and anyone that thinks he's willing to sit still, well I've got an acre of oceanfront property in Sask for you.

I've prepaid for 2, and I may cancel one, but for now I'm sticking with my investment. For those that just want to rant, just ask for your money back and move on.

I agree lock it, this wasn't what I wanted out of the thread. We've all heard what you had to say, Maetsack. No one cares, get your money back and find something else to obsess over.

Seriously? You're getting all worked up over $99? Has it occurred to you that Canada Ammo has a lot more than just $99 at stake here? Don't you think that they are doing everything they possibly can? Or do you think that they are just willing to throw tens (or maybe hundreds?) of thousands of dollars away and sit back and do nothing? They have a very obvious vested interest in getting this taken care of... How can you think otherwise? :confused:

just curious, but has CanAm thought of filing a counter suit for undo process. Have seen this down by other promoter's of other sports ( Auto Racing). The track invited 200 U.S. cars to run north of the border for a fee and when the car hit the border CBSA seen fit to stop and turn all them back home. thundreds of thousands lost in money's.
 
He got his refund months ago. He just comes in here to whine.

You know canam probably has a few hundred thousand dollars tied up in this. So he's got a hell of a lot more tied up in it than we do.

Meatsack, read flip1's post carefully. Understand it, then please stfu.

Once again, the collective lovers of CanAm ignore the intent of what was posted and choose to bash me instead. What a shock.

Yet no real answers, no answers from CanAm, just a bunch of yahoos telling me that I should be a sheep like them and suck it up.

And flip, call a spade a spade - you have no investment. You have nothing. And you blindly accept the answer we are doing everything we can but just can't tell you what that is. Please - if anyone else told you that you'd call BS. Thinking of canceling one of them? There's faith for you - you obviously have no more confidence than I do if you are even considering that and that makes you a hypocrite.

The irony is I'm the only one pushing for you sheep. None of you is asking questions. None of you is asking why there has been no movement in 6 months. None of you seems to care that CanAm could go under up over the loss of this investment and your money will be gone - don't even try to suggest it's not possible. Where will your faith be then?

My final comment to everyone other than CanAm is read my damn posts - I'm not talking to you and care less about your opinion than you do mine. If you're not CanAm or have something constructive to add, spare me your insight. You don't care about my comments, I certainly don't give a s**t about yours.

maetsack, maybe you're missing the fact that CanAm has already said he will not post what is going on behind the scenes. For that reason, maybe you shouldn't be too surprised when he doesn't. You've been given the same choice as everyone else: stick with him, or get a refund. He owes you nothing more than that, and frankly the fact that he hasn't already told you where to go after you're posts in here is a testament to his tolerance.

So then why are you still here? The fact that CanAm still acknowledges your posts is a testament to his tolerance if nothing else.
 
Hey maetsack, I will not get into an online arguement with you, BUT I WILL SET YOU STRAIGHT ON ONE POINT!

I DO HAVE AN INVESTMENT - BOTH OF MY 97'S ARE PAID IN FULL, SO THAT'S ABOUT $1800.00'S OF INVESTMENT. Far less than CanAmmo, but lots more than people that have taken their refund, or just have a deposit.

And thanks for being the shepherd of us stupid sheep.
