Hoping that this couple will be a familliar sight at the connaught Sevice Rifle Matches from now on.

:D

Well, I'm taking sheila to ranges again this Sunday @ CTHG. I will be taking along another Gun Nutz along for the trip (Fleury) to check out the facilities.

I do need a reason to shoot her once again. I'm a lousy shot :D

Well me and Sheila had a good time at the CTHG this morning.

Really starting to like the Millett DMS-1 scope, still holding zero. So my setup seems to work for now. Got to get used to the elevation and windage turrets, all the markings are on the top of each unit, 0 to 72 MOA for one complete turn. Zero still set for 200m. So I found the ballistic data for the Winchester and Federal ammo I use. My little chart for SR Matches.

Winchester Power Point 150gr

200m - 0
300m - 13 clicks (MOA)
400m - 29
500m - 49

Federal Power Shok 150gr

200m - 0
300m - 12 Clicks (MOA)
400m - 26
500m - 44

Going to need to find a way to mark these settings on the side of the turret for easy adjusting during the matches.

Next me and Sheila need to work on reducing the grouping sizes from my current 2-3in to something like 1in. So it looks like there more range time for the both of us......:D

Oh! I tried my EOTech copy again on Sheila, must say that the repairs that I made to it seem to be holding. no battery problem this time around, so the foam behind the battery springs work, after every shot the reticle is still visible. Was fun to blast away 20rds (4x5rds) with the EOTech.

So, like I said fun day at CTHG Ranges, I'll post new pictures of the rest of the facilities.

I'd like to thank Albert and Claude for sponsoring me to use the CTHG Rifle Range once again.

For those in the Outaouais Region, I would suggest you try the CTHG once.

:D

Dude, stick wth one set-up. Reduce the variables. Mounting and remounting your optics will create the potential of moving your zero. This is one of the main reason I stuck with a fixed, low power, cross hair reticle, intermediate eye relief scope set up. I can shoot close and far at command. Master that wonderful millet scope you have for different ranges.

Tons45-II, I got to see if my setup will keep zero, what better way than change to something different. Your taking the fun out of shooting with Sheila.

The millett is going back on anyway, it was just to see if the EOTech copy would still work with her.;)

That's actually a good idea. I'm just paranoid about losing my zero after adjusting with ammo and time. I was thinking of shooting iron sights for a SC match one day and seeing if my zero returns properly. I'm afraid!!!:(

Well Sheila received an update yesterday, I've replaced the Rinco bird cage hider for a SEI Navy Muzzle Break. Sheila is now one inch shorter than before. Pictures later with a range report. Hope this help me with my scores......:D

Sheila is lookin great, I'll have to tell my friend about her, he ordered an M1A that should arrive in Nov., he'll probably want to check your rifle out.

Sheila has a new Sister thanks to louthepou.....
