Can you guys give me a rundown on some of the gear needed to participate in an event like this? I'll definitely be doing it in the future.

rifle with 4 to 8 mags
pistol with 4 mags
belt, holster and mag holders for the pistol
some sort of chest rig for the rifle mags or you can just strap molle mag pouches to your belt like i do. cheaper but not as ergonomic.
lots of ammo

If you don't want your #### to fall off you'll need a kevlar helmet, some sort of rig with plates and a gas mask.

Yes, I think I was about as wet. Have gotten pretty good at keeping match cards dry. Rain didn't last quite as long, though.

Oh man that looks like a great deal of fun. I can see more participants than last time. It’s nice to see people bringing a variety of toys like SA CQB, Beretta 92 and the ‘familiar’ 180B. Did any one go 9mm for carbine?

When is the next one coming up in Borden?

I'll ask again. Does Base Borden have a gun club ?

Hungry here: None of us know... but what we do know is that we drive right by the Base Borden Rod and Gun Club and since few of us are uniforms (read:CF members) we are not allowed to join! I don't know how active their shooting body is.

Maybe you should start up a thread?
