SVT-40 questions

I'm thinking about trying to aquire an SVT-40 ( Alberta resident ). Whats a fair price? Who's got them? Anything to look for or perhaps be on guard for? Ammo's not that big of a problem as I've still got about a 1/2 crate that is left from my M/N 91/30.

else tradex had them as well as moving target for 350$
i guess 400$ would be the normal price for an svt 40 in good shape

P&S Militaria has a bunch of SVT-40's for sale. Prices range from $450 to $600. Nice things to look for are: Naval stock & original muzzle brake. Later models had some of the fins cut out.

The best thing about the Naval stock is the chance that it may have seen service in Leningrad!!

I picked up this Kovrov Arsenal SVT-40 with an AVT-40 stock for $350.00.
