Info on 2009 IPSC Nationals

Anyone staying at the match hotel have room in there car to and from the range. Buddy was going to drive but had to cancel. He just bought a farm and can't make it.

We should be able to help out as long as we are on the same schedule.

Three of us in the car so we can fit another I would think.

More shooters in a car means more guns =more fun:):) I see no problem Im staying at the match hotel going the same way maybe not at the same time we will find out:rockOn::rockOn::rockOn::rockOn::canadaFlag:

After getting off the plane some shooting range essentials will need to acquired. Folding chairs, cooler, bug spray, etc. Where is the nearest store that can provide this; likely a Canadian Tire?

There is a small Home Hardware (not Home Depot) in Enfield which is one exit North of the Airport. The nearest biggest centre would be Dartmouth Crossing which is located on the outskirts of Dartmouth. Dartmouth Crossing has a Canadian Tire, Walmart, movie theatre, restaurants, Futureshop, Home Depot, and a bunch of other stores. I don't recall if it has a liquor store or even a grocery store other than what's already inside Walmart.

Bedford is also another shopping area not too far from the airport. Everything is a half hour drive or less from the airport, including downtown Halifax and the Bayers Lake shopping district.

M-bomber and I have decided not to rent a car this year...probably because we never seem to be sober long enough to drive one!:redface:

That being said, could someone also give us wayward boys a ride from the match hotel to the range and back? (I'll let you have your way with him.) ;)

Got a wedding to go to out here and doing the tourist thing...
We will be on the same shooting schedule, so a ride should be doable...
Madness is renting a car when he gets here... and Fernando is bumming a ride with one of us (depending on squadding)

Dartmouth Crossing is your best bet. Easy, direct drive from the match hotel. Canadian Tire, Home Depot, Walmart, movie theater and lots more.

Match Hotel
1. Head north on Sky Blvd toward Bell Blvd 0.3 km
2. Take the ramp onto Hwy 102 S/NS-102 S 10.1 km
3. Continue on Hwy 118 S (signs for Dartmouth/111/Halifax/107/118) 11.9 km
4. Take exit 12 toward Halifax/MacKay Bridge/NS-111 1.5 km
5. Follow signs for Commodore Dr 0.3 km
6. Turn right at Countryview Dr 0.3 km
7. Turn right at McClure Close 0.1 km
8. Turn right at Hector Gate
 
Have you seen M-bomber without a shirt on? You'd have a great story about doing it with a bear!!! You'd be the coolest (or the sickest) kid on your block! Think of the stories! No one has stories like that!

Tritium as I mentioned Rob and I have a car too. I'm sure we can all work something out. maybe drag races to the range and back?
