I was out to Napanee for an IDPA SO course on the 18th and these guys can run a good shoot. Thanks to Steve David and the crew for an excellent course, I'm really hoping to be able to get the day off for this 3 Gun. Got a little hint about some of the courses their thinking of and it should be a blast.

I think its afternoon, it would be tough to make it to Napanee for a morning shoot
I'll be carpooling with a couple fellow shooters, I think we'll be there around noon.
It's too bad, I'd love to be there. I'd let some guys use my shotgun, 40 slugs through it are no problem at all with the nifty stock it has. Taking me pa to a Cowboy action thing that same day, figures. Take pictures and Post them up.

That was a really good course, you all did very well, but Ray's "on purpose AD" that messed you all up was the high light of the day, holy smokes was that funny, eh 6mg6?
Man I wish I could be there for this shoot, next time.

That was priceless and the fact that he remained calm and just stayed still until the SO called him clear, well after the 5 minutes of stunned silence, oh and you walking back to the range house, and Doug with his face in his hands and me ready to laugh my ass off.
I will be there at the fall match, maybe sooner.
This is going to be my very first 3-gun shoot, which will make it interesting. It will also be the first time I really take my Sig 220 and my CX4 through their paces. This is going to be fun all right...
And while I'm there, any CX4 experts mind taking a quick look, to see if my top rail might be screwed? It shoots good with irons, but damnit, I want optics and I've been having 2 different sets of results with 2 different optics, so I'm really scratching my head here.

We'll have the big tent's setup just in case, but I just checked the rain won't start until 8pm. So only the SO's doing tear down will get wet.
